This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Hope Mills is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Hope Mills follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Wow, where to start. The service was great, and we could tell she runs the place as she was able to also do to-go orders and handle cashing out efficiently. They did have a sugarfree syrup option. The interior looks like a great potential Waffle House contender, they have pictures that showcase some menu items. It's too bad the picture of the food is far from the reality. My dad had porkchop and eggs with grits and advised ONLY the grits were good. The pancakes were hard and resembled what I can easily make at the house. I had a chorizo bowl with salsa eggs, cheese, tomatoes, peppers and onions which sounds great potentially. But it was bland and very much almost a mush. I could not finish the bowl and left hungry. If you are trying to be a breakfast place, seasoning and a little love goes a long way. Unfortunately, I would not rate this better than waffle house or consider it on the same field as ihop. Like other lower scores, I would advise this is a mid continental breakfast at best. Management, please let your cooks shine because if all they have is mid ingredients and options the food will be mid. And people won't come back. .

Ordered for delivery and everything was wrong. What we did get was disappointing, French toast tasted like nothing, hashbrowns were AWFUL. Coffee was watery. Donβt waste your money, this place was terrible.

The staff were friendly. However for the amount of time we waited for our food, you would think it would have been hot but no it was barely warm. Waffle was decent. Donβt think weβll be returning.

This place was definitely very warm and welcoming. Food came out at a very decent time. Cost very reasonable for the amount of food that you receive. typical Breakfast place so really wasnt much to give my opinion . Next time we come, we will definitely try a omelette or something different. French toast was very good. I had the Nutella and bananas. My husband had the strawberry and banana pancakes. Itβs was good just didnβt like the fried taste from the pancakes, but still ate edible. The grits were a little watery, but edible. Will definitely come back and try something different maybe a omelette.

This is NOT an Artificial Intelligence AI generated review but a real world Chuck Whigham review. We were traveling home from Christmas vacation in Punta Gorda, Florida to Whitney Point, New York and wanted a great breakfast after checking out of our hotel. We used Google Maps to locate some great local and non-chain places to eat breakfast. We decided on Pancakes & Waffles which was less than 15 miles away on our travel on Interstate I-95 North. Pancakes & Waffles is a simple, casual, and cozy eatery with great breakfast and beverages. They have a simple menu that has something for everyone. You can have a delicious and fabulous meal coupled with warm, friendly, and attentive customer service. The establishment is definitely a popular place with the locals and it is definitely a refreshing change from the chains! It can get very busy in there and so arrive early and you won't be disappointed! Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by Claudia G.was our host. She was very friendly, pleasant, professional, and had a genuine smile. It was a Sunday, 12/28/2025 around 11::50 AM and we were immediately seated, provided with menus and our beverage order taken.
